In order to support local residents in the Ton and Jeti-Oguz districts of Issyk-Kul region, 25 fruit and vegetable dryers were distributed as part of the project "Support for Local Food Systems for Healthy Nutrition."

As is known, this year has not been very successful for apricot producers. Apricot prices were lower than expected, and part of the harvest remained uncollected. In response, the Public Foundation Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS) has been supplying as many fruit and vegetable dryers as possible to communities in need.

The dryers allow for fast and high-quality drying of fruits and vegetables at home. In addition, the recipients of the equipment underwent special training on fruit drying techniques.
