The Fair & Sustainable Development Solutions Public Foundation is supporting the construction and rehabilitation of drinking water and wastewater systems in villages across Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Jalal-Abad regions.

This support is provided within the framework of the FSDS project “Supporting Local Food Systems for Healthy Nutrition.”

To date, repair and rehabilitation works have been carried out in 20 villages across these regions. Soon, around 5,000 families will gain access to safe and clean drinking water.

All project sites were selected in collaboration with the Department of Clean Water under the State Construction Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and local self-governments. Local residents also actively contribute to the repair of wells and other works to improve the water supply systems.
