From December 16 to 22, 2022, within the framework of the new project “Empowering Communities for Drinking Water Management,” implemented jointly with USAID in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Public Foundation Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS) held meetings with residents of three regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Members of water user associations from Osh and Issyk-Kul regions participated in the meetings to discuss the development of the rural water supply sector, particularly the introduction of a unified billing system.

This water management system enables the storage, monitoring, and analysis of water consumption data to ensure proper oversight and control of water resources, the pipeline system, and end-user systems. The system will allow users to view billing calculations, monitor utility payments, and maintain records of meter readings.
