The Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS) Public Foundation is announcing an open competition for the selection of a consulting company/consultants specializing in fundraising services and consulting on organizational strategic management.

  1. General Information about FSDS

The FSDS Public Foundation (FSDS) was founded in 2014 in Kyrgyzstan, with a mission to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Since 2014, with the technical support of international organizations, FSDS has been implementing projects to promote social integration and equitable economic development in local communities in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

To effectively implement its mission and organizational development, FSDS is looking for consultants/companies with a good understanding of the local context and the activities of civil society organizations (especially NGOs) to provide services to enhance the organizational sustainability of the Foundation through fundraising and support in strategic management. The consulting services may also include services to strengthen the capacity of FSDS, local partners, and beneficiaries on topics that contribute to the sustainability of FSDS activities.

The work will be conducted throughout 2021 (with potential continuation into subsequent years) under the coordination of FSDS leadership.

Requirements

  • Higher education in social or related sciences;

  • Experience with result-based management methodologies;

  • Experience as a consultant in relevant areas (fundraising, management, organizational development, NGO development, project/program management);

  • Experience in conducting training/seminars using interactive communication methods;

  • Experience in evaluating NGO activities, conducting analyses, and writing reports and recommendations;

  • Knowledge of the local fundraising market.

  • Knowledge of the English language is required.

Responsibilities
2. Objective and Scope of Work for the Terms of Reference

Objective – To enhance the sustainability of FSDS activities through supporting organizational sustainability and improving strategic management.

Expected Results/Products

  • Work plan for providing consulting services

  • Fundraising plan for FSDS

  • Developed project proposals submitted to various competition programs

  • Reports on conducted activities (e.g., research, training/seminars, facilitation of meetings, etc.)

  • A general consulting report (including all relevant appendices) with recommendations for FSDS.

All analytical reports must be provided in Russian and sent by email to the FSDS leadership.
