The past year turned out to be one of the most challenging for our society. In addition to the coronavirus, it also brought political and economic changes. Despite this, the Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS) Foundation continued its work aimed at improving the lives of people in Kyrgyzstan and beyond. We have prepared a short video compilation about the work done in 2020.

FSDS trained 70 business planning trainers-consultants, with 25 trainers in Kyrgyzstan and 45 in Tajikistan.

Over 800 representatives from vulnerable groups improved their skills in entrepreneurship, vocational education, and leadership in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

As part of supporting the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the fight against COVID-19, FSDS provided targeted humanitarian assistance to 110 vulnerable families with children at risk of malnutrition and delivered oxygen concentrators to regional hospitals during the peak of the infection.

FSDS produced a series of videos and a short film highlighting the importance of proper balanced nutrition for both children and adults.

In 2020, FSDS held over 50 educational events for youth and women affected by migration in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Over 90 parents of children with disabilities participated in FSDS seminars. 26 parents proposed business projects to increase family income, nine of which are successfully operating today in areas such as baking, sewing, dairy product processing, and more.

Over 70 children with disabilities across the country received technical assistance from FSDS, including specialized wheelchairs, walkers, equipment, furniture, and more.

Four teams of young inventors from regions presented their ideas to combat coronavirus at MAKEATHON-2020.

To strengthen rural tourism in Jalal-Abad region, FSDS, in collaboration with "Hospitality Kyrgyzstan," provided equipment to local tourism associations.

Thanks to the work of FSDS and local authorities, 41,756 people in 19 villages in Naryn, Issyk-Kul, and Jalal-Abad regions gained access to clean drinking water.
