The #100kmaMonth campaign started on January 10 and will run for exactly one month — until February 10. To track their progress, participants simply need to install a pedometer app on their phone and carry it with them at all times. The app will automatically record their daily steps.
To meet the goal of 100 km per month, it is necessary to take at least 5,000 steps each day. According to scientists, a half-hour walk daily not only boosts mood and energy levels throughout the day but also helps extend life expectancy.
