Approximately one million people in Kyrgyzstan face challenges in accessing clean drinking water. Currently, many residents of remote regions of the country drink water from canals, rivers, springs, and also use transported water. To improve water drainage infrastructure and drinking water supply, FSDS has been working in Kyrgyzstan since 2017.
As a result of the project, over 20 villages in Kyrgyzstan gained access to clean drinking water. One of these villages is Orguchor in the Issyk-Kul region, where over 300 residents now have access to clean drinking water.
