March 11-12, 2025, Bishkek — An international conference on early intervention was held in Bishkek, gathering experts, representatives of government structures, international organizations, and specialists in the field of early intervention. The event served as an important platform for sharing experiences and discussing key issues and solutions in supporting children with developmental risks or delays.

During the first days of the conference, participants were introduced to successful early intervention models from Europe and Central Asia and discussed current issues in coordinating healthcare, education, and social welfare efforts. Results from pilot projects and innovative methods for working with children were presented, including the use of the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) and artificial intelligence for intervention planning.

In plenary sessions and sectional discussions, experts shared their experiences on topics such as community-based rehabilitation, the use of standardized tools for monitoring child development, as well as supporting and training parents.

Special attention was given to cooperation between government and private institutions in the field of early assistance, as well as opportunities for developing the system in Kyrgyzstan.

The conference concluded with discussions on innovations in early intervention practices, alternative communication systems, and speech therapy work.
