From March 13-16, the second regional forum of basin organizations in Central Asia took place, where economic and financial tools for basin planning and promoting the WEFE nexus in the region were discussed.

One of the participants in the event was the Fair and Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS) Foundation, which presented its project on community empowerment for drinking water management. FSDS's participation in the event provided an opportunity to present their project and exchange experiences with other participants, which will help increase the effectiveness of its implementation.

Overall, the second regional basin organizations forum and the meeting of the regional coordination committee of the USAID Water Resources and Environment Project are significant events for the region. These events facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge among participants and help to develop and promote sustainable water resource management practices in Central Asia.
