From May 15 to May 20, 2017 in the cities of Batken and Isfana, representatives of tax services conducted practical consultations on the management of small and medium-sized businesses for members of migrant families and deputies of local keneshes of Katran, Toguz-Bulak, Kara-Bak and Darini aiyl aimaks and in Isfana city. More than 150 people attended the consultations.
During the consultation, issues on obtaining voluntary and mandatory patents, on a simplified system on the basis of payment of a single tax, payment and the coefficient of land and transport tax were explained.
Of particular interest among family members of labor migrants was the issue of doing business on the basis of a simplified taxation system with a single tax, which is a type of special tax regime.
The participants in the practical consultations concluded that for the Batken oblast, the small and medium-sized business sector is the main catalyst for the changes taking place in the economy, since it more quickly and takes into account changes in the demand for certain types of products and services. Small enterprises are less capital-intensive, they can function on the basis of available infrastructure, effectively use regional labor and material resources. This sector of the economy in the Batken region is considered one of the most important, because it is potentially effective and has the ability to solve many social problems involving the members of migrant families.
Practical consultations are held within the framework of the project “Strengthening Economic Development and Opportunities for Migrants and Their Families through Integrated Approaches to Improve the Quality of Services Provided and Support Business Initiatives in the Modern Integration Conditions of the EEU”, implemented by Public Fund “Insan Leilek”, with financial support from FSDS.
