From 30 January to 3 February 2017 in the cities of Isfana and Batken practical consultations for members of the families of migrants were conducted on the topic “Innovative technologies in agriculture”.
During consultations expert from the Bank “Bai Tushum” Sattorov Latif shared knowledge on cultivation, care and storage of apples and potatoes.
Particular attention was paid to such important topics as: pest control, pruning apple trees, planting methods of potatoes, choice of potato varieties most suitable for the climatic conditions Leilek and Batken regions.
Also, at the request of the participants storage in the winter ofpotatoes and apples, for subsequent sale at a bargain price were discussed in detail.
Workshop was attended by over 170 participants from 5 pilot communities of Batken oblast.
This event is held within the project “Strengthening of economic development and opportunities for migrants and their families through a comprehensive approach to improve the quality of services and support business initiatives in today’s integration under the EEU” with the support of Fair & Sustainable Development Solutions (FSDS), and is implemented in partnership of three organizations, PF “Insan Leilek” PF “Mehr-Shavkat” and PF Iseda Kyrgyzstan.
