• Types and expense of the organization;

• Budgeting;

• Cash Flows;

• The financial statements and audit;

• Procurement Policy of goods / services (planning and implementation of procurement):

- donor requirements;

Development of financial strategy for organization

 

The purpose of this training is to enhance the capacity and skills of NGO leaders to ensure the financial stability of the organization by:

• Assessment and management of financial risks;

• Development of financial strategy and relevant policies.

During the training, participants receive practical skills in the use of key planning tools, based on the strategic objectives of their organizations.

 

Duration - 2 days

 

The training program:

• Tools for evaluation and measurement of financial stability;

• Situation and Stakeholders analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats in financial management;

• Risk mapping Tools to mitigate and manage risks;

• Alternative financing options in order to become less dependent on foreign funding;

• Tips for creating and managing security reserves;

Project Proposal writing

 

The purpose of the training is improving project proposal writing knowledge and skills. Logical Framework Approach (LFA) is a management tool that is mainly used in the project design, monitoring and evaluation. LFA is a carefully constructed process that imposes the implementation and logic to the project.

 

Training duration - 2/3 day

 

The training agenda includes:

• The concept of the project. Project Life Cycle;

• Components of the grant application;

• The importance of needs assessment, information collection and goal and objective formulation according to SMART criteria;

• Work Plan;

• Project budget categories;

• Monitoring and evaluation plan for the project.

 

 

Strategic Planning

 

Strategic planning is one of the most common tools of organizational development. while developing a strategic plan, the organization finds the answers to the questions: how organization will look like in next 3-5 years? What are the strengths and external opportunities that can contribute to the development of the organization? What are likely the threats and risks? What and how the organization should work to achieve its strategic goals as part of its mission?

• Analysis of environment of the organization;

Monitoring and Evaluation

 

Monitoring and evaluation (M & E) is a key part of the process of organizational development and is linked to key elements of the organization, such as the mission and main activities. M & E is also important component of project management that makes it easy to report to their sponsors (donors) and beneficiaries. Monitoring and evaluation ultimately contributes to the improvement of the organization, including the process of project implementation.

• The main characteristics of monitoring and evaluation, their importance and purpose;

• Differences between monitoring and evaluation;

• Indicators of the project;

• Information Sources and selection criteria;
